Matt Curtin on Electronic Evidence

Interhack founder Matt Curtin will be joining with Dino Tsibouris of Mallory & Tsibouris Co LPA and Martin D. Susec of the Ohio Attorney General's Office in the presentation of “Litigation in Cyberspace (Version 2.0): Everything you wanted (needed) to know about the discovery of electronic evidence.” The Public Practice CLE is hosted by the Columbus City Attorney's Office, and will be held at the Columbus Division of Police Auditorium from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2003.

9:00-10:00	Discovery of Electronic Evidence Dino Tsibouris With the increasing use of electronic devices to store and retrieve information comes complexities of conducting discovery. Documents can be destroyed or altered with the touch of a button. We'll examine what to look for and anticipate in everyday practice.
10:00-10:30	What is a Public Record, electronically speaking? Martin D. Susec This segment will explore the complexities of determining what is a public record in the context of discovery of electronic materials.

10:45-11:15	Collection and Preservation of Electronic Evidence Matt Curtin How to discover electronic evidence and preserve it for purposes of evidence rules and reliability - a technical perspective.
