Interhack's Web Assurance Service is much more than a
review of your policy's language and a sticker that
says you're behaving yourself or a watchdog that will
bite you if data entrusted only to you start showing
up elsewhere. Our Web Assurance Service is a
comprehensive ongoing assessment of your system's
ability to deliver on its privacy promise.
Using our sophisticated TrackerTracker
technology evaluates your site, seeing how it works,
and what information it passes to other sites. The
end result is that we assess how your site impacts the
privacy of the user, whether the implementation is
compliant to stated policy, and whether the
implementation is compliant with HIPAA's privacy
rule.
The Interhack Web Privacy Assurance program is
annually renewable. Through the course of the year,
there will be quarterly or monthly assessments (at
your option). The result will be not only statements
of compliance, but recommendations for improvement and
additional risk mitigation in the areas of:
- Posted privacy policy
- Relevant regulation, including HIPAA, GLBA, and COPPA
- Internet standards
- Internet best current practice
- System design and implementation
This service is available standalone, and can also be
incorporated into a larger package of information
assurance services.
